Be A Buddy is a not just a calling or a job for me, its a tribute to my Uncle Buddy. Buddy lived to be 54 years of age. He has been my biggest inspiration in loving people with special abilities. He taught me what love and kindness was all about. He was always present growing up and I was lucky enough to spend time with him as an adult. Watching my mom and dad care for him taught me how to respect and honor my parents in their aging years.

My experiences in life (Buddy, Parents various ailments in their final years, helping students with special abilities and raising my own children has given me the incredible platform to help others who need that individual attention. I understand the role and responsibilities of the primary care giver and have spent enough time with special people to understand their needs as well. I look forward to this adventure with you!

My Philosophy

I understand that caring for an individual with special needs can be a lot. It can be overwhelming for a lot of us. My Philosophy is to bring individualized care to your loved one. I know to truly care for a person with special needs, you have to focus on what makes that person special. I don't want to just be another person that is around your loved one, but help them grow and enjoy life, no matter what stage of life they are in. I love incorporating crafts, games, puzzles and activities into their lives that are special to them.

Be A Buddy wants to carry on the personality of its namesake. We want to provide care with Kindness, Laughter, Light and especially Love.
