"I have known Laurie for 30 years. In that time, I have seen her compassionately care for people with all different kinds of needs. Shes has worked in the school districts with special needs children for more that 15 years. During the time of her parents aging and illnesses, she left her full-time job of taking care and teaching children, to tend to her parents needs on a full time basis. Simply said, Laurie has a love for people with special and unique needs. Whether they are children or elderly, she cares for and loves the people that are in her care. It has been my privilege to watch how she loves people and only wants the best for them”

Laurie is a caregiver for my husband, who has Alzheimer's. We have found her to be cheerful and helpful. The first time she was here, my husband had just spilled water down his shirt front--I was getting ready to go out--and Laurie swooped in and said if I had a hair dryer she could fix it right away--which she did! No need to change everything since it was just water--the hair dryer dried it in a few minutes and Andy was dry and comfortable. Viola!

"I have known Laurie for over ten years. Shes worked in my classroom for six years. Laurie is dedicated to helping others. Her gifts of working with people who have special needs and people who are elderly is truly special. Laurie works hard with a good sense of humor. I would be honored to have her work with someone who needs extra assistance and would recommend her every time. Laurie is honest, caring, and keeps things confidential. I am blessed to know her and call her my friend."

She has taken care of my daughter through her school years as a paraprofessional and has become a friend of the family. I feel blessed to have Laurie in our lives as a care provider and as a family friend."

"I have known Laurie for over 35 years. She is truly gifted in every sense of the word when it comes to working with individuals with special needs and the elderly. I saw first hand her love and devotion for her Uncle Buddy who had Downs Syndrome. Laurie sees the individual for who they are and does not let their disability or physical needs define them. She also cared for her parents for several years devoting her time sacrificially. Laurie is compassionate, kind, and trustworthy, and the individuals needs are her first priority. She loves building relationships with those she cares for and she does not see it as a job but her calling in life. "

"I am the parent to a sweet 27 year old young man, Tyler, who has Down Syndrome and does not talk. Tyler is a very funny and spirited individual. Laurie started working with Tyler when he was in 7th grade. At that time I did not realize what a God send Laurie would become for us. Laurie is honest, has integrity and heart. She had the ability to understand Tyler and he responded and grew with that. I valued Laurie's opinion and would take that into consideration when setting goals for Tyler. I could go on and on about Laurie and what an asset she was for not just Tyler but our family as well. If your looking for someone with heart, knowledge, spirit and experience then Laurie is your lady. Thanks Laurie for loving our special famalies in the way only you know how to do."

"Laurie -- 5 Star Care Giver!
When our elderly father became a fall-risk, his assisted living facility required that we provide 24/7 auxiliary care for him. We were scrambling to figure out a plan for his care when a friend recommended Laurie. She stepped in immediately to help us by caring for our dad, scheduling additional helpers, solving problems, cleaning, and more! She did a wonderful job of communicating with us and updating us about his status. Kind, patient, caring, knowledgeable, experienced, safe, wise. We felt so blessed to have caring for our dad!"

"This lady really “gets it” when it comes to Senior Care! She provides extremely compassionate care which I believe is born out of her own family experience. We found her to be a person of integrity, prompt communication, resourcefulness and a positive attitude. She stepped in to organize and provide care for our dad in a crisis as we all live out of town. Can’t say enough about what a help and blessing she was to our family in a time of need!"

"Laurie Bonta assisted in the care giving of our late Grandmother [who was 101.5 years old!]. We cannot say enough about the blessing she was to our Grandmother. She not only took excellent care of her physical needs (ie, emptying colostomy bag, prepping food, etc.) but also encouraged her with projects/crafts to stimulate her mind. She spent her time fully engaged with our grandmother versus doing her own thing. We would highly recommend Laurie to care for your loved one as we saw first-hand how loving, caring, giving and thoughtful she is!"
